Take the Tour of Morristown!

Hurricane Relief ~ Food Collection

The Interfaith Food Pantry, located in Morris Plains and serving Morris County, has been receiving many requests for food from Morris County residents, shelters, group homes and agencies needing non-perishable food after losses from Hurricane Sandy.

Food drop off boxes will be set up at Borough School and Mountain Way School (in the hallway near the front doors) for donated items. If you would like to donate food, their most needed items are: Parmalat and powdered milk, canned meats and meals, hearty and low-salt soups, tuna, peanut butter and canned fruit. Donation boxes will be set up until Friday, November 16th.

"If you would like to help, the most efficient way to help us meet this demand is to DONATE NOW since many grocery stores are in short supply of the items we need and gas is difficult to get.

These funds go directly to IFP and will help us purchase food at a discounted price from our suppliers. $48.71 is enough to supplement a family of four for a month! We can also use gift certificates to supermarkets."
